CPC Exam Information
The Academy does not offer multiple year exams. Thus, the Academy
examinations contain only the current calendar year CPT, ICD-9-CM and HCPCS codes.
Examinees may use any year approved code books they choose during
the certification process; however, it is strongly advised that they use the code books for the current calendar year. Use
of previous year code books will put examinees at a disadvantage.
The Jacksonville Chapter will proctor exams on a quarterly basis
at Nemours Children's Clinic, 807 Children's Way, 10th floor, Jacksonville, FL. Parking is
free. Entrance to building is via Security Door.
Examinees should arrive by 8 am. The exams will begin at 8:30
am. Enrollment must be
coordinated through the AAPC's National Office. Study guides are also available
